You may know something in your life needs to change, but not know how to make change happen. You might feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or stuck in emotional patterns that no longer serve you.

Colleen specializes in working with adolescents and young adults navigating relationships, trauma, chronic pain, life transitions, and a stronger sense of who they are. Her approach is warm, trauma-informed, and deeply individualized, incorporating aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Feminist Theory, Attachment Theory, and mindfulness techniques depending on each client's needs.

Colleen's therapeutic work centers on Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation. IFS-informed understanding of the psyche is a core pillar of her work: she works from the framework that people are made up of many inner parts — parts that may become anxious, perfectionistic, guarded, self-critical, or withdrawn — that formed to protect core wounds. Rather than fighting or judging these parts, Colleen helps clients meet them with curiosity and compassion. The more a client's core Self builds a consistent and reliable relationship with their parts, the more those parts begin to act from a place of harmony – their natural form before the world hurt them. Over time, this work helps clients build internal trust and self-leadership, alongside strengthening their own intuitive guidance and somatic awareness.

For clients interested in exploring spirituality as part of therapy, Colleen can also integrate spiritual and intuitive perspectives into her work. Her background includes Level 2 Reiki training and several years of experience offering trauma-informed, spiritually-integrated healing sessions and intuitive readings through her own business. Spirituality is never something a client must bring into therapy; rather, it is another dimension Colleen can thoughtfully incorporate when it is meaningful to the person she is working with. Combining her therapeutic techniques with intuitive practice, Colleen takes an approach that makes the soul feel seen, beyond just the human mind, helping clients reconnect to their inner wisdom and Self.

At the heart of Colleen's approach is the belief that healing is not about becoming a completely different person — it is about developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself, understanding the parts of you that learned to survive difficult experiences, and reconnecting with the wisdom, strengths, and sense of Self that have been there all along.
